Skillet Green Beans
A simple skillet green bean recipe with lemon and garlic

- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1/8 tsp red pepper flakes
- 1 lb fresh green beans, ends trimmed
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp lemon zest
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium high. Add the green beans and red pepper flakes, tossing in the pan until coated with the oil.
Cover the pan and reduce the heat to medium. Cook, stirring frequently until beans are blistered and tender crisp, about 7 minutes.
Remove pan from heat and remove the lid. Add the garlic, lemon zest and lemon juice, tossing to coat. Season to taste with salt and pepper, then serve immediately.
